The primary goal of this course is to investigate the use of photography
as a method for artistic self-expression. We will learn the fundamentals
of black and white photography, therefore this class will start out

use photography as another tool, another technology with which to express
ourselves.

artistic issues, applying questions to methods both verbally and visually;
- Develop an ability to communicate about visual issues within a critique
